Full Description

The Camden County First Time Home Buyers Program provides deferred, forgivable assistance loans up to $25,000 to eligible low- and moderate-income households buying in Camden County. Assistance is provided as a 0% interest, non-amortizing loan, forgiven after 5 years (if assistance < ~$15,000) or after 10 years (for assistance $15,000-$25,000). Applicants must not have owned a home in past 3 years (with some exceptions), complete required housing counseling, and meet purchase price and income caps. Property must pass inspection and buyer must make a minimum personal contribution (often 3% of purchase price)
