Eligibility
Low-income first-time homebuyers purchasing a home that meets HUD Housing Quality Standards in eligible rural Nevada counties (including Carson, Churchill, Douglas, Elko, Esmeralda, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Lincoln, Lyon, Mineral, Nye, Pershing, Storey, and White Pine). Buyers must obtain pre-approval from a mortgage lender, carry hazard (and flood, if needed) insurance naming RNDC as loss payee, meet maximum purchase price and income requirements tied to HOME or HMNI funding, and agree to owner-occupancy throughout the affordability period.
