Eligibility

Ohio small businesses: in operation ≥ 1 year, ≥ $100,000 annual revenues, operating in one of JobsOhio’s target industries; preferential consideration for minority-, women-, veteran-, and disability-owned firms and/or firms located in eligible zip-codes.

Full Description

The grant supports fixed-asset investments (machinery, equipment), real estate improvements or acquisitions (land, buildings, leasehold improvements), infrastructure improvements, site development, rehabilitation, environmental remediation, training costs, relocation of equipment, and other eligible fixed costs. Funding is reimbursement-based and generally will not exceed 50% of the eligible project cost. Applicants must commit to job creation/retention and investment levels.
