The FY 2025 Body-Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program (BWCPIP) aims to assist publicly funded law enforcement and correctional agencies in establishing or enhancing body-worn camera programs to improve evidence collection, documentation of encounters, and officer safety. Eligible applicants include special district governments, state, county, city or township governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, public and state institutions of higher education, and independent school districts.
