The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $8,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.
The NOFO aims to support the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health to enhance life-saving assistance through targeted HIV testing, prevention, and treatment activities amid ongoing war.
Objectives under this NOFO include:
- Ensuring wide access to targeted HIV testing, treatment, retention, and prevention services for people who are at high risk of HIV acquisition in community settings using social network strategies. Activities include targeted community-based case finding, immediate linkage to treatment, and retention support.
- Improving access to HIV services via mobile HIV testing, treatment, and prevention using targeted Mobile HIV case finding, treatment, retention, and prevention services. Activities include streamlining immediate linkage to treatment and strengthening ongoing adherence support.
- Improving access to and quality of HIV services at medical facilities by implementing differentiated service delivery models. Activities include enhancing patients’ retention, adherence, and access to HIV services at the facility level.
- Enhancing essential, targeted HIV prevention service provision for people at high risk of HIV, focusing on accessibility, quality, coverage and timely initiation.
