This NOFO seeks to strengthen government capacity to implement and manage public health systems to ensure program sustainability in Nigeria. The priority is to sustain and institutionalize established systems for continuous quality improvement (CQI), monitoring and evaluation (M&E), survey/surveillance and health information systems (HIS), while progressively enabling government self-reliance in the stewardship of these systems. You will work closely with government institutions to develop and implement frameworks that embed CQI and data quality assessment/improvement (DQA/I) into national structures and PEPFAR-supported facilities. You will also support the host government in strengthening governance frameworks for HIS and maintaining critical platforms such as the National Data Repository, Electronic Medical Records, and Laboratory Information Management System. In addition, you will provide technical assistance for the government to lead the technical implementation of surveys. The NOFO further requires the adoption of innovative technologies, including digital health solutions, automated data capture, and advanced analytics to increase efficiency across M&E, and surveillance functions. Through these interventions, the NOFO will contribute to long-term sustainability by equipping the Nigerian Government with the systems, tools, capacity needed to independently manage, monitor and improve public health programs, including HIV response.
