Description
The purpose of this SAMHSA grant program is to expand training for primary care providers in the evidence-based prevention and treatment of opioid use disorders (OUD) and the treatment of chronic pain, increase understanding of the importance of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and ultimately increase access to MAT through expanded prescribing of FDA-approved medications for the treatment of opioid use disorders.
