Description

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) seeks to advance its mission by issuing a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) to continue the NIH Research Education Program to support research education activities that complement and/or enhance the training of a workforce to meet the nation’s biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research needs. Specifically, this NOFO will support research-oriented experiences and activities designed to develop, maintain, and expand the scientific abilities of psychiatry residents in areas relevant to the mission of NIMH. Applications are not being solicited at this time. This notice is being issued to provide potential applicants ample time to develop strong, responsive applications. Investigators with expertise and insights in the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative and interactive research education programs for psychiatry residents are encouraged to consider applying to the NOFO.
