The Indian Housing Block Grant Competitive Program (IHBG-COMP) aims to provide competitive grants to eligible recipients under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act (NAHASDA) for affordable housing activities benefiting low-income Tribal families. Eligible applicants include federally recognized Native American tribal governments and nonprofit tribal organizations, while individuals and foreign entities are not eligible. The ROSS-SC program aims to assist residents of Public and Indian Housing in achieving economic and housing self-sufficiency by addressing educational, professional, and health barriers through the hiring of Service Coordinators. Eligible applicants include nonprofits (with or without 501(c)(3) status), federally recognized Native American tribal governments, public and Indian housing authorities, resident associations, multifamily owners, and tribally-designated housing entities.
