The grant aims to support the development of new animal drugs for minor uses in major species or for minor species, assisting with the costs of safety and effectiveness testing required for FDA approval. Eligible applicants include entities developing veterinary drugs, research partners, nonprofits, government entities, educational institutions, and businesses. To apply, organizations must have an Investigational New Animal Drug (INAD) file with the FDA and a minor use or minor species designation, and the proposed study protocol must be reviewed and concurred by the FDA's Office of New Animal Drug Evaluation before submission.
The Developing Country Collaborations in Plant Genome Research (DCC-PGR) grant aims to support research collaborations between US scientists and those in developing countries, focusing on agricultural, energy, and environmental issues relevant to local contexts. Eligible applicants include all currently active Plant Genome Research Program (PGRP) awardees, as well as scientists from institutions in developing countries. To apply, a request for supplemental funding should be made under an existing PGRP award, or support can be requested within a proposal for a new or renewal PGRP award.
The grant aims to support cooperative agriculture practices on National Wildlife Refuge System lands to enhance wildlife habitats and meet conservation objectives.
